Friday, April 29th Festival Schedule

* Cherry Blossom Booths/Vendors at the Marshfield Community Center (9 AM- 4 PM). Music will be provided at various times throughout the day as well.

* Webster County Museum will be open 10 AM – 4 PM – Special Exhibits featuring the history of Webster county and Missouri

9 AM – Robert and Edith Garst History Convocation – with Clifton Daniel (grandson of Harry Truman), Mary Eisenhower (granddaughter of Dwight Eisenhower), and David Roosevelt (grandson of FDR) — Marshfield High School at the Carl and Glessie Young Community Auditorium – (Free Event)

10:15 AM – “Real Sons and Daughters of the Civil War”- Interview with children of Civil War veterans – Bertram Hayes Davis (great, great grandson of Jefferson Davis) moderator. — Marshfield Assembly of God (Free Event)

11:30 AM – Laura Ingalls Wilder Home and Museum Luncheon – Alison Arngrim (Nellie Oleson, Little House on the Prairie) will speak. The luncheon will benefit the new museum at the home of Laura Ingalls Wilder. — Holy Trinity Catholic Church ($15 per person) For tickets call 808-345-4975

1 PM – Annual Missouri Walk of Fame Ceremony – Honoring six famous Missourians with stars on the historic Walk of Fame. Honorees including: Lulu Roman, Albert and Sylvia Caldwell and several others — Marshfield Assembly of God (Free Event)

2:35 PM – 6th Annual Dred & Harriet Scott Reconciliation Forum –  Hosted by the Dred Scott Heritage Foundation of St. Louis — Marshfield Assembly of God (Free Event)

4 PM – “Legends of Television” Panel – Featuring actors and actresses from several classic television shows- Kami Cotler (Elizabeth, The Walton’s) will moderate. Panelists will include Margaret Kerry (Disney’s Tinker Bell model) and several others — Marshfield Assembly of God (Free Event)

6 PM – Edwin P. Hubble Medal of Initiative Dinner – Presenting Marshfield’s highest honor to several outstanding Americans. Honoring Michael Learned (Olivia, The Walton’s), Ruth Moon Sanders (Plains Better Hometown Program) and Margaret Kerry (Real life Tinker Bell model). — Holy Trinity Catholic Church ($25 per person) For tickets call 417-872-8174.

*Annual Cherry Pie Contest & Auction will be held in conjunction with the Hubble Dinner. Drop pies off 1 PM to 4 PM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. For more information call 417-933-5244.
