(10 AM- 4 PM)- Cherry Blossom Quilt Trail, sponsored by the Cherry Blossom Auxiliary- Beginning at the Masonic Lodge (256 E. Washington St.)- (See Quilt Trail Map)- (Free Event)

(10 AM- 5 PM)- Webster County Museum (Clay Street)- See the featured art of Jimmie Marler, Edwin P. Hubble and Marshfield Cyclone exhibits and much more- (Free Admission)

9 AM- Mary Pat Kleven, Wisconsin fiddler and researcher will talk about “The Real “Pa’s Fiddle” exploring the real story of Charles “Pa” Ingalls, immortalized in Laura Ingalls Wilder’s Little House books and the fiddle music that he most likely played. (Spoiler alert: It might not be the music from the books!) – Marshfield Assembly of God (1538 W. Washington)

10 AM- Remembering the Kansas City A’s/ Oakland A’s – Nancy Finley, daughter of Kansas City A’s President Carl Finley, will be interviewed regarding the Kansas City A’s and the teams baseball dynasty in the later city– Moderator, Tim Pletkovich (former Chicago Cubs Scout) – Marshfield Assembly of God (1538 W. Washington)

10 AM- Free Little Library Dedication-featuring remarks by Andrew Och (First Ladies Man)- Hosted by Princess Julia’s Reading Room-Corner of Clay St. and Maple St. in historic downtown Marshfield. Master of Ceremonies, Reagan Inman.

11 AM- The Society of the Ingalls Family will host a mixer for those interested in learning about their new organization- The Depot (110 Commercial Street-Behind the Marshfield Community Center)

11:05 AM- Join Dr. Diana B. Carlin (FLARE President) and Anita McBride (Chief of Staff to First Lady Laura Bush from 2005-2009) as they are interviewed on stage about their book, Remember the First Ladies: The Legacies of America’s History-Making Women and their vast knowledge of the women who have helped shape our nation from the White House – Moderator, Andrew Och (First Ladies Man)-Marshfield Assembly of God.

11 AM-1 PM- Enchilada Dinner hosted by the Helen Jackson Ladies Circle-Marshfield Assembly of God Fellowship Hall (1538 W. Washington)- Tickets: $12 per person, pay at the door (to-go orders available)

12 PM- The 4th Annual Carolyn Grinnell Luncheon for fans of The Waltons television show. The late Carolyn Grinnell was the founder and longtime president of the Waltons International Fan Club. Judy Norton (Mary Ellen, The Waltons) will be honored and interviewed on stage- Moderator, Martha Nix Wade (Serena Burton, The Waltons)- Son-Rise Christian Church (673 Jump Road)

1 PM- Lux Radio Theater re-creation of the classic movie ” It’s a Wonderful Life” starring: Karolyn Grimes, Alison Arngrim, Jeannie Russell, Jon Provost, Ray Toler and other special guests will act live on stage with live music and live sound effects. Celebrating the 80th year of this classic film with a radio production- Marshfield Assembly of God.

2:30 PM- The 16th Annual Cherry Blossom Tea-”Oil Baron’s Tea” featuring actresses from Dallas-Come and spill the tea about the good, bad and sensational stories of the classic television show-Moderator, Richard LaMotte-.Hats are HIGHLY encouraged for this festival event-Marshfield Community Center (110 Commercial Street)- SOLD OUT EVENT

4 PM- 7 PM- Fish Fry to benefit the Vivian Stuber Memorial Library in Niangua- Marshfield Assembly of God Fellowship Hall (1538 W. Washington) – Tickets: $12 per person, pay at the door (to-go orders available)

4:35 PM- Presidential Ancestry Panel – Ulysses Grant Dietz (Grant), Margaret Hayes Clark, and Jennifer Coolidge Harville will be interviewed regarding their families’ ancestors – Moderator, Tim Pletkovich – Marshfield Assembly of God (1538 W. Washington)

5:35 PM- “Legends of Television and Screen” Panel featuring actors and actresses from several classic television shows and cinema classics- Jon Provost (Lassie), Martha Nix Wade (The Waltons), David Harper (The Waltons), Ray Toler (Home Alone), Tammi Bula (The Waltons), Tina Cole (My Three Sons), Karolyn Grimes (It’s a Wonderful Life), Stepfanie Kramer (Hunter) and others-Moderator, Richard LaMotte- Marshfield Assembly of God (1538 W. Washington)

6-7 PM – “Romancing with the Stars – Inspiring Hollywood Love Stories” book signing- Doug Hartline, author, will headline a book signing of this newly released book with Alison Arngrim (Nellie Oleson, Little House on the Prairie), Pamela Baird (Mary Ellen Rogers, Leave it to Beaver), and Jerry Mathers on behalf of Tony Dow (Wally, Leave it to Beaver), whose love stories are among those preserved within its pages – Jubilee Theater Center Downstairs- (109 Commercial Street)

7 PM- (Carl and Glessie Young Auditorium, 370 State Highway DD)- Sean Dietrich (Sean of the South) is a columnist, humorist, author and stand-up storyteller. 7 PM- “Murder at the Jubilee” – Marshfield Community Theatre 7pm, Doors open at 6:30 pm. Webster County history humorously comes alive in this locally written whodunnit! Tickets price: $12 in advance, $15 at the door.
