All Cherry Blossom Festival tickets will go on sale on February 21, 2022, Presidents Day at 8 AM (Central Time).

Following is a list of the ticketed festival events ONLY. A full schedule will be released later as it is finalized.

1. Cherry Blossom Kickoff Concert- The 5th annual concert to benefit the Randy Travis Foundation will be held on Wednesday, April 27th at the Marshfield Community Center (110 Commercial Street) at 6:00 PM and will feature T. Graham Brown, Lulu Roman and several special guests. A preview show will begin at 6 PM (Doors open at 5:30 PM). 2. WW II Patriot Breakfast- A breakfast honoring the veterans of WW II will be held on Thursday, April 28th at 9 AM at Son-Rise Christian Church (673 Jump Road). The breakfast will be a fundraiser for the Eisenhower Foundation. Mary Jean Eisenhower (granddaughter of President Dwight Eisenhower and Patron of the Cherry Blossom Festival) will interview Louis Graziano (last living witness to the German surrender of WW II) and Jack Hamlin (100-year-old- D-Day survivor). 3. Enchilada Luncheon- The annual luncheon benefitting the Fordland Memorial Library. The luncheon will be held on Thursday, April 28th from 11:30 AM-1 PM at the Marshfield Assembly of God (1538 W. Washington). Tickets are $10 per person, pay at the door.

4. Cherry Blossom Tea- The annual Cherry Blossom Tea will be held on Thursday, April 29th at 2:30 PM at the Marshfield Community Center (110 Commercial Street). Andrew Och (The First Ladies Man) will be the keynote tea speaker. Admission will be $5 per person at the door. Hats are encouraged for this festival event.

5. Fish Fry- The annual dinner to benefit the Vivian Stuber Memorial Library in Niangua. This dinner will be held on Thursday, April 28th from 4:30 PM to 7 PM at the Marshfield Assembly of God (1538 W. Washington). Tickets are $10 per person, pay at the door.

6. Route 66 Repertory Theatre Production- The Route 66 Repertory Theatre will present the play, “Raising a President” about the life of Rachel Clark at the Marshfield Church of the Nazarene (226 Church Street) on Thursday, April 28th at 7:30 PM. The story of Rachel Clark and Jimmy Carter takes place in Georgia during the Depression, where a little boy lived who would one day grow up to be a president. Rachel Clark was a woman who lived and worked on the Carter Farm, working in the fields and in the Carter household. Rachel influenced that little boy in more ways than one, sharing words of wisdom that would last a lifetime. 7. Laura Ingalls Wilder Breakfast- The Laura Ingalls Wilder Home and Museum hosts, “Nellie’s Breakfast”-benefitting the Laura Ingalls Wilder Children’s Literature Festival on Friday, April 29th at 8 AM. Alison Arngrim (Nellie Oleson, Little House on the Prairie) will interview Patrick Labyorteaux (Andy Garvey, Little House on the Prairie). The breakfast will be held at the Marshfield Assembly of God (1538 W. Washington) and tickets are $25 per person. 8. Wilson’s Creek Foundation Luncheon- A luncheon benefitting the Wilson’s Creek Battlefield Foundation will be held on Friday, April 29th at 11:30 AM at the Marshfield Assembly of God (1538 W. Washington). Lynne Jackson (great, great granddaughter of Dred Scott) will be interviewed on stage by Dr. Bill Piston (noted Civil War historian) about the 165th anniversary of the Dred Scott decision. 9. Hubble Dinner- This is the annual dinner where Marshfield’s highest honor is presented, The Edwin P. Hubble Medal of Initiative. The dinner will honor Ruta Lee (actress), Gayla Peevey (singer), Terry Tietjens (owner of the Seelye Mansion) and several others.

10. MHS Alumni Luncheon- The annual luncheon for the alumni of Marshfield High School will take place on Saturday, April 30th at noon at the Marshfield First Baptist Church (1001 S. White Oak). Lola Fern Day’s family will serve her FAMOUS cashew chicken. Tickets are $15 per person and can be purchased by calling 417-689-2098.

11. Rosalynn Carter Luncheon- A luncheon benefitting the Rosalynn Carter Childhood Garden of Plains, Georgia on Saturday, April 30th at noon at the Marshfield Assembly of God (1538 W. Washington). This luncheon further celebrates the Cherry Blossom Festival’s sister festival relationship with the Peanut Festival in Plains. Allethea Wall (sister of Rosalynn Carter) will be interviewed as part of the program for the luncheon. The fried chicken luncheon will reflect a southern menu. 12. State Dinner- The 12th annual State Dinner with feature John M. Collett as the keynote speaker. John is a retired Army Ranger and founder and president of Three Rangers Foundation. He earned a Bronze Star for valor and heroism after serving in Mogadishu, Somalia, in 1993, as part of a mission to capture top-ranking deputies of warlord Mohamed Farrah Aidid. He later received the Silver Star as well. After retiring from the Army, he was a military consultant and stuntman on the feature film Black Hawk Down, based on the crash of two U.S. helicopters and the death of American soldiers during the operation in Mogadishu that he participated in. This annual dinner will be held at the Marshfield Community Center (110 Commercial Street) on Saturday, April 30th at 7 PM (doors open at 6:30 PM). Randy Travis Photo Opportunity- Have your picture taken with Randy Travis and concert performers prior to the Cherry Blossom for a Cause Concert on Wednesday, April 27th at the Marshfield Community Center (110 Commercial Street) to benefit the Randy Travis Foundation.
