Benefits the Marshfield DC Travelers

~

The Marshfield DC Travelers annually sponsor an educational trip to Washington D.C. for 8th grade students from Marshfield Jr. High. Through educational travel to the nation’s capital, Marshfield students become more aware of their nation’s history and government. Echoing the values of the WorldStrides travel company, “the opportunity to learn outside of the classroom is a life-changing experience that will inspire and impact students forever.” Marshfield student’s who have made this educational journey have gone on to travel and learn about other countries and continents. Students raise money for their trip through a variety of fundraising methods and all donations go directly to each student’s travel account. For more information about this trip or if you wish to provide support for students going on the educational trip, please contact Chuck Cooksey at chuck.cooksey@mjays.us.
